Wholesale Policies
Expand How can I create an account profile?
This website is set up for B2B and wholesale accounts only. If you are a retail customer interested in purchasing Argento Vivo, please visit us at any of the stores listed under retailers, or contact us to find a location nearest to you.
 
If you are a wholesale customer interested in working with Argento Vivo, please go to the Log In page and create an account under "New Buyer Registration".
Please note: a Tax-ID is required for account approval.
   
Expand What is your Return Policy?
We want you to be happy with your purchase from Argento Vivo. You may exchange or return within 30 days of receiving your merchandise if you are unsatisfied with your order.
Expand Do I need a Return Authorization (RA)?
Yes.
 
To request a return, please Contact us for a Return Authorization (RA) Number.  Please make sure to include your name, order # and item # as well as a reason for the return in the request.
Once your request is approved, a Return Authorization number will be issued and the return address will be provided.  The RA# must be clearly noted on the outside of the box.
Return shipping charges are to be paid for by the customer.  Shipping fees are non-refundable.
 
Returns without RA#s will not be processed.
 
Expand What are Argento Vivo's terms of sale?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover & American Express.
 
We will consider Net 30 terms only for established accounts (minimum of 3 current trade references are required, along with a completed Credit Application that can be found here.
(Please note that submitting references does not guarantee that you will be approved for terms; please allow up to 10 days for processing.)
 
We also accept various forms of Pre-Payment, including checks, wire payment and money orders, in addition to COD.
(Please note that your order will be cancelled and put back to stock if we do not receive your payment within 3 weeks of the ship date.)
 
Expand Do you have a minimum order requirement?
Yes. Our minimum order requirement for opening orders is $500.00; there are no minimums on re-orders.
Expand Can I make an appointment to see your line in person?
We would love for you to stop by and see us at our booth if you could make it to a trade show!
 
In addition to our New York showroom, we also have a number of reps in the Northeast, Northern Midwest as well as the South.

About Your Order
Expand How are shipping rates calculated?
Shipping will be calculated based on the weight of the package, along with the shipping destination. Standard shipping is UPS Ground.
Expand What happens to items that are on backorder?
While we strive to keep our merchandise on shelf stock for your convenience, some items will be on backorder due to production lead times and scheduled for a later ship date. Backorder merchandise is shipped once it is received by our warehouse.
Should you decide not to receive any backorders, please indicate to your preference at the time of order and we will ship accordingly.
Expand When will my order ship?
Your order will be processed and prepared for shipment within 5 business days of receipt.
If you would like the order to be shipped according to a specific timeline, please click the "Delivery Information" button on the order summary page and note your request.
 
Please note:
If you are a new customer, your order will not be processed until a Payment Authorization Form is received.
If you have elected to Pre-Pay for your order, your order will not be shipped until your payment is received. If no payment has been received within 3wks of the ship date, then your order will be cancelled and the merchandise will be put back to stock.
Expand How do I know my order is accepted?
After you have completed all of your information through the final stages of the check-out process, if your order has been accepted, an Order Confirmation page will be displayed on your computer. In addition, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order with instructions to authorize payment. For this reason, please make sure that the e-mail address you entered into your account profile is accurate and up-to-date.
Expand Why was I not asked for payment when I placed my order?
As most of our customers already have terms or their preference of payment on file, we will process your order accordingly.
 
If you are a new customer with Argento Vivo or would like to update your preference of payment, please complete the Payment Authorization Form and fax a signed copy to 212.704.4011. Upon receipt and approval, we will begin processing your order.
 
If you wish to set up terms with us, a Credit Application is also required with 3 forms of references. Please allow at least 10 business days for us to process and upon approval, your order will be shipped and invoiced to you.
 
If you are a new customer, your order will not be processed until a credit application form is received.
Expand Can I make changes to my order?
While your order is in the Shopping Cart you can make as many changes to your order as you wish. Once you have completed the checkout process your order cannot be changed. However, it may be possible to cancel your order provided the Order Status indicator still displays "Open".
To check the status of your order please follow these easy steps:
1. Click on the "My Account" tab located within the toolbar area of this website.
2. Click on the "View Your Orders" option to see the status of your order.
 
If the Order Status indicator for your order displays "Open", you may proceed to cancel your order as follows:
1. Click on the order number that corresponds with the order you wish to cancel.
2. Click on the "Cancel Order" button. That will complete the process.
 
If you are able to cancel your order, you will receive a confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail. You may then enter a new order. 
Please be advised that if the Order Status indicator displays either "In Process" or "Shipped" then your order cannot be cancelled. If you wish to make any changes, please contact us and make sure to include the original order #.
 
Using the Website
Expand Can I sort products by price?
Yes. First, select the category of products you wish to view. Then click on the bright blue link located at the upper right side of the page titled "Switch to List View."
Finally, click on the words "Wholesale Price" and the items will be automatically displayed and sorted by price.
If you wish to sort by Item # or Description, this can be done by clicking on the other headings. 
Expand How can I find a particular style or item?
Rather than looking at all the items on our website you may want to search for a particular style or product type. To make your purchasing decisions easier you can simply enter the style number or keyword you are searching for (i.e. “Organic”) in the "Search" box located at the upper right side of the webpage and click the "Search" button. All items associated with that keyword will be displayed automatically.
 
In addition, our product are grouped not only according to their collections but also by their product category.  For example, if you are looking for a pair of high polished hoop earrings, they can all be found under Argento Vivo Classics -> Earrings -> Hoop Earrings.
Expand How do I enlarge a product image?
If you feel the displayed image is too small to see all the detail, you can zoom in on parts of it by rolling your cursor over the image.
If you click on the image, you will be directed to the product’s description page. Once you are at the product’s description page click on the displayed image and it will double in size. Now you will also be able to view other images of the same product.
Expand Can I use your photos on my website?
If you would like to use our images on your website, please contact us. In most circumstances, we will allow the use of our photos only to promote the sale of products purchased from us.
 
Please be advised that all material including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, and written and other materials that are part of this website are the exclusive properties of Argento Vivo. Use of such exclusive properties without prior written consent by Argento Vivo specifically authorizing such use is strictly prohibited and is in violation of United States copyright laws.
Expand What can I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, click the Forgot My Password link below the sign-in boxes on the login page. You will then be prompted to enter the email address associated with your account, and a link along with directions to update your information will be sent.
